Creating Engaging and Interactive Storytimes!
In this 90-minute workshop, Ramblin’ Rita shares her recipe for creating engaging, interactive, and intentional storytimes for children ages 0-5 and their caregivers. Not only does she discuss the elements of a great storytime, but she also gives several hands-on demonstrations of puppetry, flannel-board storytelling, baby sign integration, and interactive reading. Participants will leave this workshop with ideas and resources to enhance their storytime programs in the library, the classroom, and beyond.

In this 90-minute workshop Ramblin’ Rita shares her techniques for telling stories that engage and entertain audiences of all ages. Learn how to choose great stories, integrate creative storytelling methods, involve your audience, and deliver a performance that will keep the entire audience on the edge of their seats. Participants will leave this workshop with tools and techniques to enhance their storytelling in the library, the classroom, and beyond.
