Kayla Wardell, Children’s Storyteller & Entertainer
Once upon a time there was an actress who loved to read. If she wasn’t on stage, she had her nose in a book. She loved stories of all kinds and dreamed of one day becoming a princess. For years she traveled across the world, teaching children how to tell stories. They told stories of magic and mystery, pirates and genies. Her travels led her far and wide until one day she decided to come home to the magical land of Texas. Here she would tell the tales of the Wild West and inspire another generation of readers and storytellers.
Kayla Wardell earned her BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Texas at El Paso and has appeared in numerous local and regional productions. She’s taught acting for after school drama programs and spent a year and a half touring with the prestigious Missoula Children’s Theatre, teaching and performing with young actors across the country and around the world. When not onstage, Kayla crafted and led story time programs for Barnes & Noble Bookstores and the Frisco Public Library as a youth services library assistant.
StoryTime Entertainment, LLC combines Kayla’s passion for books, theatre, and children. Our programs are designed to encourage imagination, confidence, and a love of reading.
